I am an architect by education, and a draftsman and watercolorist by profession. For over a dozen years, I have been running my own drawing school, Creosfera, and a YouTube channel where I have gathered a community of over 100,000 art enthusiasts. Currently, I am opening a new chapter by entering the world of literature. As a history lover, I am working on my debut novel, treating writing as another plane – alongside drawing and watercolor – for creating worlds. This time, however, instead of lines and stains, I build them with words.

Where the Empire ends, and madness begins.
Mauretania, 40 AD. The desert sands hide more than just hostile armies.
Experienced veteran Severus returns to service in the army of Suetonius Paulinus. Following him – against the orders of his adoptive father – sets off the young and defiant Venedus. Neither of them suspects that the ordinary reconnaissance mission they are taking part in is actually a smokescreen for a deadly game.
In Decurion Severus's unit, nothing is as it seems. Traveling with the cavalry troop is the ruthless speculator Asper, as well as a Persian astronomer and a Greek medic, whose presence at the front arouses suspicion. Each of them has a hidden agenda. Each hides a secret. When internal conflicts begin to tear the unit apart from the inside, and heat and exhaustion blur the lines of reality, the soldiers must face something more dangerous than an enemy army. In the wilderness, every step toward the goal strips them of their humanity, but brings them closer to the truth.
